The Melville Premier Cricket Club was established in the 1956-57 summer and was located at the Stock Road oval (now named Melville Reserve). Melville then relocated to the stunning setting of Tompkins Park in the summer of 1972-73. Melville Premier Cricket Club boast the names of past and current legends like Dennis Lillie, Graham Wood, Jamie Stewart, Jim Cunningham, Paul Terry, Scott and Justin Meulemen, Steve Magoffin, Paul Wilson, Dimitri Mascarenhas, Shawn Gillies, Drew Porter, Luke Towers, Karen Read, Deb Wilson, Renee Chappell, Jenny Wallace, Emma Biss, Mathilda Carmichael and of course Adam Voges!
We are a proud and successful club who over the last decade have claimed numerous One Day and T20 Premierships not to mention the 2019 National Premier T20 Championships where we finished 3rd! Last season our Female teams were very successful taking out the A Grade One Day, B Grade and Youth League T20 Premierships.
We have worked hard on creating a strong player and coaching pathway at our club with a focus on developing OUR people, which we feel helps foster a positive culture.
Our Club Vision Statement:
The family club that strives to produce quality people and cricketers in our community!
